Our Values
Talk Forward was built on a simple conviction: that organisations doing important work deserve scrutiny that is honest, rigorous, and grounded in the reality of frontline practice, not shaped by what is comfortable to hear. We challenge with care and without apology, because we know that the hardest conversations are usually the most necessary ones.
We don’t position alongside your leadership team against the problem. We position alongside the people your decisions affect. That orientation - placing service users and practitioners at the centre of every engagement - is not a value we display. It is the lens through which every audit finding, every supervision session, and every recommendation is made.
We are direct because vagueness costs people.
We are independent because scrutiny that serves the commissioner first is not scrutiny at all.
And we are practitioners first because the credibility of this work depends on having been in the room where the decisions are hardest — not just having read about it.
